Dallas Cowboys Release Marion Barber, Roy Williams, Leonard Davis, Kris Brown
In an effort to get under the $120 million salary cap mandated by the new NFL collective bargaining agreement, the Dallas Cowboys have decided to release right guard Leonard Davis, receiver Roy Williams, running back Marion Barber and kicker Kris Brown. Becoming Next Great Dallas Cowboys’ No. 88 Completely up to Dez Bryant
There’s a reason Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant chose 88 as his jersey number. It’s obvious the Cowboys’ second-year stud wideout is trying to become the third great receiver in team history to wear that number. However, off-the-field issues seem to be a growing issue with Bryant. If he can get everything straight between his ears, Bryant could be the next Hall of Fame receiver in Cowboys team history. Dallas Cowboys WR Roy Williams Suing Ex-Girlfriend, Miss Texas for $76K Engagement Ring
Dallas Cowboys receivers and jewelry have not mixed well this offseason. Cowboys second-year receiver Dez Bryant was sued twice in the past few months for unpaid jewelry and now fellow receiver Roy Williams is in a bind over some bling. Unlike Bryant, Williams is not being sued. Instead, he’s suing his ex-girlfriend, Miss Texas USA 2009 Brooke Daniels for an engagement ring he bought for $76,000. Williams claims he sent the ring to Daniels via the United States Postal Service in February along with a recorded marriage proposal. Daniels declined Williams’ proposal, so he wants the ring back. Dallas Cowboys Set Provisional Training Camp Dates for Alamodome in San Antonio
Like the team’s star receiver, Dez Bryant, the Dallas Cowboys are planning on there being an NFL season despite the lockout. Over the weekend, Bryant said he expects the labor issues to be resolved soon and the NFL season to start on time.
