Preseason All-NFL Team; League’s Best Players for 2011

Regardless of naysayers, the 2011 NFL season will begin on time and if it resembles the 2010 season at all, it will be one of the best in recent years. Assuming no stars are traded or cut once the shortened NFL offseason officially begins, I’d like to release my first draft of the 2011 All-NFL team. Jason Hatcher Wants to Remain a Dallas Cowboy

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Stephen Bowen’s future with the team has been in question since the 2010 NFL season ended. Bowen is currently a restricted free agent with a second-round tender worth nearly $2 million on the table from the Cowboys. The NFL lockout is keeping Bowen and the Cowboys from making any kind of official deal and a new collective bargaining agreement could wipe the tender off the table. Tony Romo Still Leading Dallas Cowboys’ Player-Only Workouts; Will Marry Candice Crawford on Saturday

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has his plate full these days. The three-time Pro Bowl signal-caller is currently leading America’s Team in player-only off-season workouts due to the NFL lockout. In the midst of that, he’s getting married on Saturday. That’s right; Romo will wed Candice Crawford on May 28 at Arlington Hall at Lee Park in uptown Dallas. Romo spoke about being a player-coach and tying the knot on Monday. (more…)

DeMarcus Ware: Dallas Cowboys’ Defense ‘A Lot Better’ During Player-Only Workouts

The Dallas Cowboys have been conducting player-only workouts over the past few weeks since the NFL lockout prohibits teams and coaches from contacting players. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, tight end Jason Witten and linebacker DeMarcus Ware organize and lead these workouts. The Cowboys have specifically been focused on defense during these workouts and Ware said Tuesday he and his teammates are effectively learning new Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan’s complex scheme.
